Internet Explorer crashes at random times after installing QuickTime 4 on Windows 2000 writing a report to the Event Viewer of:
The application, iexplore.exe, generated an application error. The error occurred on (date @ time). The exception generated was c0000005 at address 70F65E0E (<nosymbols>)
No proper explanation
has been made for this up to the present time
Uninstall QuickTime (including all system extensions) by going to the START menu, CONTROL PANELS and ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and then selecting QUICKTIME
